SUMMARY:Unbounded Horizons - Trauma Healing Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Unbounded Horizons is a healing retreat for female survivors of trauma that takes place at NatureBridge\, on the stunning and peaceful shores of Lake Crescent\, in Olympic National Park. The retreat offers those who have experienced emotional trauma an opportunity to reconnect:  with oneself\, with one another\, and with the cathartic healing power of nature.  \nThe retreat’s facilitators are trauma-informed educators\, advocates\, LCSW\, coaches\, and movement practitioners\, as well as trauma survivors themselves. They are dedicated to helping participants reflect on their experiences without judgement\, gain awareness about their mental and physical responses to triggering events\, learn new skills to advance toward the life they desire\, and—perhaps most importantly—discover how a deepened spiritual connection with the natural world and its rhythms can be a catalyst to rediscovering their own unbounded horizons.

KSQM 91.5fm. \nHave you ever wondered how your neighbor\, your favorite coffee shop\, or the community\nactivities you enjoy and share can have a significant impact upon your health and wellness? The\nhealth of your family? Your community? The Olympic Peninsula Healthy Community Coalition\n(OPHCC) is working to improve the daily lives of all community members. First through\nfostering individual activities and resources\, and then by creating a coalition of community\nservice organizations\, health professionals\, educators\, legislators\, business owners\, and\nindividuals. \nWOW! Working on Wellness is a health education program of Dungeness Valley Health\nand Wellness Clinic—Sequim’s free clinic. The Clinic provides basic urgent care and\nchronic health care services to uninsured community members. Our work is supported by\nmore than seventy volunteers\, including physicians\, other professional health care\nproviders\, and laypersons\, as well as private and public donations from the Sequim\ncommunity and beyond. We would like to thank our 2022 Proud Supporter Sponsors:\nJamestown Family Health Clinic\, KSQM FM Radio Station\, Olympic Medical Center\, and\nDungeness Community Church. The Basic Urgent Care Clinic is open to patients on\nMonday and Thursday evenings beginning at 5:00 pm. Individuals interested in supporting\nthe Clinic may call 360.582.0218.
